So what exactly is this? A wedding? A reception? A party?
Answer
This is a party to celebrate our marriage. We will be getting married in a private ceremony prior to the reception but we still wanted to have an event to celebrate our marriage with friends and family. We also wanted to share a special place, Rustic Roots, with everyone. Brant biked past Rustic Roots many times before we finally made our way over one summer night and ever since it's been a fun place for us to enjoy the summer evenings outside. The property is beautiful and the wine slushies are dangerous! The reception is meant to be laid back and a time for us to celebrate with friends and family. Please note: The winery is open to the public during the reception so please come back to the tent to order drinks and eat. Drinks and food are on us so don't get stuck with your own tab at another bar on the property.

What can I do before dinner?
Answer
From 3-5pm, we encourage you to explore the winery and relax. If you're up for adventure, there are hiking trails on the property and Rustic Roots allows guests to walk through the vineyard. If you love music, check out the live music at the pergola next to the tent. Reminder, Rustic Roots is open to the public so enjoy the music with all the other Rustic Roots guests. If you want to relax, grab a drink and chat with other guests under the tent.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Wear whatever you like and feel comfortable in! If you want to explore the winery, wear something you feel comfortable walking around in. The reception will take place outside under a tent so be mindful of the weather as we get closer to the date.

Is there parking for the reception?
Answer
There is plenty of parking onsite and overnight parking is allowed. Please note: Uber and Lyft are uncommon in Scandia, so if you are being dropped off at the venue, it is encouraged to book something ahead of time to ensure you can get a ride off the premises.

Do you have a wedding registry?
Answer
We are fortunate to have everything we need as we start our new life together. Your love and support mean the world to us, and your presence at our celebration is more than enough. Please, no gifts.
