How We MetHow We Met

Lydia and Austin grew up 7 minutes away from each other, yet didn't have the pleasure of meeting until they were 17 years old. Lydia and Austin met in their woodshop class Senior Year. Austin still remembers the moment Lydia walked into his class-her presence unforgettable, like a quiet spark lighting the room. He asked her to lunch the day before Winter Break, thinking if she said no, she'd have time to forget he asked. To his surprise, she said yes. They spent lunch laughing like old friends who had just found each other again. After Winter Break, Austin asked Lydia to go bowling. Again, she said yes-but forgot her socks. A quick stop at Dollar General turned into hours of wandering the aisles, talking about everything and nothing. They never made it to the bowling alley. By the time they bought the socks, it was time to take Lydia home. That night, she knew. There was something different about him-something rare and quite extraordinary. The rest, as they say, is history.
