Lydia remembers meeting Arnie back in 2005. She was at her best friend’s cousin’s graduation party. Rosie went to Bethel Park High School and this particular graduation was one for a Central Catholic graduate so she didn’t really know anyone but was okay with that because there were going to be lots of boys there. She was extremely shy and did not utter a word to any of the boys but one stood out to her because he was extremely tall and funny. Arnie does not remember seeing Lydia that day but remembers a few years later hanging out with a group of friends at the Pleasant Bar and Lydia was there. On the contrary Lydia has no recollection of this meeting but Arnie said he had a crush on her but didn’t make a move. Life went on for the two and With the help of technology and apps fourteen and a half years later Arnie made his move. After their first date they went their separate ways but both knew that was their last first date and they wouldn’t be living separate lives any longing
We have selected to celebrate our wedding at Oglebay Resort and Conference Center. Located about an hour southwest of Pittsburgh, Lydia has fond childhood memories there like going on Easter egg hunts at the Good Zoo in her birthday and exploring the mansion and gardens with her grandma and aunt. It is also a family tradition with her siblings and nephews to see the Festival of Lights during the Christmas season. Arnie and Lydia look forward to creating more memories and a special weekend and wedding day with all of their guests!
