Hotel VIA Shuttle

The first shuttle will pick up immediate family members at 3:00PM from Hotel Via and transport them to the venue to take photos before the ceremony. The second shuttle will pick up the Bridal Party at 3:45 PM. The third shuttle will pick up any other guests staying at Hotel Via at 4:05. Return shuttles will run continuously from the venue back to the hotel from 9:30 to 12:30

We suggest that guests stay at Hotel VIA, though you are welcome to stay anywhere you'd like. This is the venue for the Welcome Party and Farewell brunch, and shuttles from the Chase Center will drop off at Hotel VIA. It's also a 15 minute walk from Chase Center. It's a new hotel and will be significantly cheaper than many in the area given it's New Year's Eve weekend. We expect most guests will prefer to be here, and that the block will fill up quickly. If the block fills early enough, we will look into expanding. But try to book early to ensure your spot! If you plan to drive into the city from the extended Bay Area, we recommend at least staying the night of New Years Eve, 12/31 to avoid driving late at night after a major holiday.

Flight
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK)
San Francisco has three major airports: SFO (20 minutes south of the venues), OAK (30 minutes east of the venue) and SJC (60 minutes south of the venue). We suggest flying into SFO or OAK. SFO typically has more flight options but is more often affected by weather-related delays because of Carl the Fog!
Travel Note
Please Uber rather than drive!
We recommend Ubering from the airports rather than renting a car. We also recommend that local guests Uber into the city rather than drive if possible. Valet parking at the hotel is quite expensive and street parking is difficult. If you're staying at Hotel VIA, it's unlikely that you will need a car since most of the activities are at or near that hotel.
