Their mutual friend (Matchmaker) Rael knew that they would be perfect for each other and told Lydia that she wanted to hook the two of them up. Rael gave Timothy Lydia’s phone number and they started talking and immediately fell for each other. After about two weeks of texting, talking on the phone, and Facetiming, they finally met in person on Halloween. Lydia called out of work (sorry not sorry) and Timothy came over so they could finally meet. It wasn’t any big planned date, or anything fancy but it was the sweetest moment that they will always remember.
Timothy planned it all with my sister Abby. She texted me during the week and said she wanted to do a girls day and have a picnic at this cute park she saw close by. We always have random girls night so I thought nothing of it. The day of, Abby texted me and said that she had a friend that was just beginning her photography career and needed help building a portfolio, so to dress cute and be ready for a photoshoot. I still didn’t think much of it because it is not unusual for Abby to want to do something like this. The photoshoot started and the photographer whizzed around us doing her thang, and keeping conversation with me to keep me preoccupied. When she saw Timothy arriving, she had Abby and I turn around so my back was facing away from him. She took a few photos of us and then I remember her saying “ok Lydia, I want you to stay turned and Abby come stand over here.” And then a few seconds later she said “ok now Lydia I want you to turn around.” When I turned around Timothy was kneeling and that’s how the perfect proposal went down.
Come celebrate the beginning of our forever and be apart of our story!
