Wedding Party

Hannah Aschenbrener

Matron of Honor

My beautiful and more talented younger sister, Hannah! I have countless favorite memories growing up with her, playing with our stuffed pig (aka Pearl), laughing at our parents and Bennett (aka family dog), and now Colorado trips with her, her husband Nolan and Nate. She’s incredibly creative, generous, genuine, and truly wise beyond her years. As her older sister, I probably should have been the one to teach her how to do her hair, makeup, etc. but instead, I think I learned pretty much everything from her. Having is a sister is such a special relationship that spans hopefully forever and I will always be thankful that God gave me her.

Casey Foster

Bridesmaid

One of my first college friends, OG and forever travel partner but more than that, Casey’s walked with me through many seasons of life… some low as living in a dusty basement our senior year to highs like traveling to 5 different countries together. I’ve never felt the need to “catch up” with her, even though we haven’t lived in the same state since college. She really makes anything we do together fun and I’ve found her steady, encouraging and loyal nature such a gift in our friendship. Plus, she singlehandedly revamped my fashion in 2023, so I’ll always be grateful.

Nicole Fetsch

Bridesmaid

Getting married the same year as one of your best friends is such a unique experience, which is exactly what Nicole and I shared this year! From living together with Nathania in SF to our now 3+ hour wedding planning calls, I’ve always treasured the way Nicole and I are able to hold the nuance of empathy and accountability for each other. She’s hilarious most of the time, but simultaneously quick to pray and meet her people in the hard things. Still praying that her and Austin feel led to stay in SF forever ;)

Nathania Fuad

Bridesmaid

Nathania is always convincing me to do something out of my comfort zone… whether it’s last minute tickets to Hawaii for 72 hours, turning a “it’ll only be 3 miles” into a 6 mile run (I still haven’t let that one go) or pushing Nicole and I to host 30+ people for a seated Friendsgiving every year we lived together. All of them are now sweet memories and I’m grateful to share and experience her love for people, celebration and of course, a running to catch a great OB sunset. Fun fact is that we’re now living just 2 blocks from each other!

Alyssa Linquist

Bridesmaid

One of my first adult friends in SF! Alyssa and I are pretty opposite but we’ve formed such a wonderful relationship through deep conversations about faith/life, camping trips, and so much more. Even though her and her husband Alek are in Thailand this year working with International Justice Mission, they’re still up there for some of our favorite people to double date with 😊 She’s the biggest hype queen, lovingly honest, and the best at intentionally checking in on her people. I can’t wait for her move back to SF!

Veronica Flores

Bridesmaid

I met both Veronica and Karenna my freshman year of college and from the start, our friendship has felt consistent and anchoring. I’ve gotten to witness her marriage, journey through law school, moving several times since college and she’s gone through all of it with such intentionality and discipline. Her and her husband Erik are some of the most generous hosts and I’ve loved the times we’ve shared visiting each together across multiple states (Chicago, Boston, SF). Also, Nate can thank her for kickstarting my running journey!

Karenna Wade

Bridesmaid

Karenna and I spent most of our senior year together probably unhealthily obsessing over Kayla Itsines HIIT workouts (iykyk) and Mormon influencers, but more that, I’ve always found her presence through college and adulthood very calming and reassuring. She’s a great listener, always down to to split a meal or dessert, and I’m constantly inspired by how open handedly she lives her life as a wife, mom to 2 super cute little girls and friend. I only wish they lived closer!

Peter Thompson

Best Man

If I ranked all my friends by who I’ve spent the most time with after moving to CA, Pete would undoubtably by #1. We’ve taken over half of our college courses together, lived together for the past 3 years, and dedicated an irresponsible amount of time watching NBA. He has a strange obsession with Costco, loves Thai food, and has been a pillar of support for me through many seasons. Pete is incredibly thoughtful, patient, humble, and sacrificial and I’m glad he’ll be standing by my side as my best man.

Vincent Shan

Groomsman

Vinny and I share a running joke that our lives are intertwined. We spent our teenage years as close friends at the same middle and high schools, both bopped over to Cal for college, and both stuck around the Bay Area post-grad for work. Somewhere along the way, we both managed to find Bay Area born-and-raised, Canto girls with the last name “Lee” to be our permanent plus-ones. It’s rare that anyone shares life so closely with a friend across so many seasons, and extra special that we’ve more recently been hanging out with our better halves! Vinny has been there for my successes, my tears, my changes, my faith, my disappointments, and everything in between. He’s crazy dependable, wise, sometimes a little derpy, and always an encouragement.

Justin Chow

Groomsman

You know those people who have staggering eye for design - interior design, photography, fashion? J Chow’s that guy. We grew up in the same church and back in the day, I used to wait for his routine wardrobe refresh so I could raid his leftovers. He’s an ex challenger league player (iykyk), a former barista (ask to see his latte art), and one of the most genuine, whole-hearted people I know who has an gift to be able to connect with all kinds of people.

Kevin Kim

Groomsman

I’ve always prided myself in developing cred amongst my social circles by being the first to find the next banger worship song, but whenever I forwarded a new album to Kevin he’d just tell me which songs were his favorites. Like bro… the album literally dropped today? Music aside, Kevin and I spent countless nights eagerly sharing about our faith, our learnings, and the happenings. Every conversation I have with Kevin I’m left feeling encouraged by his conviction, abundant from his generosity, and lucky to consider him a close friend.

Elliot Ryu

Groomsman

To me, Elliot is one of one. He’s notorious for responding to your questions with a link to his notion or Google Drive. In college, he tracked who he had one on ones with in a spreadsheet and plotted graphs at the end of each semester. Elliot has always been unapologetically himself, extremely values driven, and unbelievably intentional. Even through post-grad, his move to LA, and getting married to Sarah, he’s stayed connected and has reminded me that he’s always just one call away.

Justin Park

Groomsman

JP takes the crown for the friend I’ve traveled with the most internationally, has been my workaround for learning espanõl. He was there when I fell in love with sangria, got baited by a wine tasting, and got pickpocketed. What I admire about JP is that he naturally meets people where they’re at, and that he truly encompasses all of what it means to be a friend. He can also sing, dance, cook, and is a father of a rescue dog named Eddy… and he’s single!
