FAQs

Question

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both will take place at Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, Connecticut.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. We ask that you arrive no later than 5:15. You may want to arrive closer to 5:00pm to give yourself time to park and find a seat! If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, you will not be able to be seated and will be asked to wait until cocktail hour to enter.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

There is parking on site at Wadsworth Mansion. You can park in the lot overnight but you must move your car by 11:00am the following day, Saturday, May 10th, 2025. We will have an open bar so please coordinate designated drivers and carpool if possible. Please plan accordingly and do not drink and drive!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! Dress codes can be confusing so we aren't requesting a certain type of attire. We suggest a suit, dress pants and a suit coat, dress pants and a button up, or a floor length dress. We would love to see our guests dressed in pastels and florals! Think garden party attire, flowy, pastel, floral, and fun! We will be having our ceremony outdoors on the lawn, so consider that when choosing your footwear! Please avoid wearing jeans, sneakers, and colors traditionally reserved for the bride such as white, cream, and ivory. Look through our "Attire" tab to seek inspiration and don't hesitate to reach out for clarification!

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

We will be tying the knot, rain or shine, on Wadsworth's gorgeous lawn. Our wedding events will take place both inside and outside throughout the night. Consider this when picking out your shoes, stilettos might not be your best friend on the lawn.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a full bar supplying drinks all night long. Don't forget your ID! Please also think ahead about how you will be getting home! We recommend booking a room at the Inn at Middletown which is a short 8 minute ride away from the venue. Parking is permitted overnight at the Wadsworth Mansion as long as you come back for it by 11:00am latest!

Question

I still have questions! What's the best way to get in touch?

Answer

For any further inquires, you're welcome to contact the bride directly at (603) 661-4985. The groom is notorious for asking the bride anyways so might as well go directly to the source!

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to "The {Your Last Name} Family" or "{Your name} & Children" if your children have been invited.

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

Menu: Garlic and thyme chicken - skillet seared airline breast, garlic smashed potatoes, roasted broccolini, citrus chardonnay reduction Flat iron steak - 8 oz. flat iron, corn bread cake, seasonal vegetable succotash, garlic butter Mahi-mahi - blackened mahi-mahi, lime zested black garlic risotto, seasonal vegetable succotash, cilantro garlic yogurt Quinoa & corn stuffed poblano peppers - tomato, scallion, cumin black beans, avocado crema, micro cilantro (vegetarian option)

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time. Please RSVP no later than Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025.

Question

What if I'm unable to attend?

Answer

We will miss you dearly! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you don't RSVP by Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's. (This will mean you are not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you).
