We love kids! Feel free to bring your little ones or take a night off for yourself :)
There are many local family members and friends that will be going to many of the same places and would be happy to help if so! There is also uber in South Africa and if you believe you can drive on the left side of the road, there's also car rentals :)

There are many ways to exchange your money. There are local ATMs to get rand out, places at the airport and western unions. This all depends on what you feel comfortable with.
