Luz met Lauren on the car ride to a prison tour organized by their Criminal Justice club. Lauren, the driver, and her friend David sang musicals the whole. ride. there. She made quite an impression on Luz that led to a close friendship and they have been inseparable since then. There was no one else she would have chosen to be her maid of honor on her special day.
Garrett Gomez
Best Man
Riley and Garrett's friendship began at the age of five and six respectively when the Chetwood's moved from Alhambra to San Gabriel in 1998. As Erin and Bob jokingly recall, upon visiting their newly acquired home, Garrett was quick to introduce himself and hasn't stopped showing up since. Whether it was playing war in their front yards, camping together as Boy Scouts, or simply grabbing a drink and discussing life the two have made a lasting impression on each other.

Yesenia is Luz's younger sister with whom she shared a pink room and countless memories growing up. She has a huge heart and can easily make you laugh with her humor and stories. One of Luz's favorite memories is showing her around San Diego and enjoying a girls weekend with sunshine and dessert.

Alex has known Riley his entire life. As cousins, the two have spent countless hours laughing, fighting, learning and growing. A simple man, Alex is happiest with a glass of Wild Turkey in one hand and a good book in another. His great taste in books makes up for his awful taste in whiskey.

Luz and Gaby met during Gaby's freshmen year in college, when she approached Luz about joining the Criminal Justice Student Association club. Their college year were filled with many sleepovers, movie nights, and running the CJSA club. Over the years they have only grown closer supporting each other as they reach their professional and personal goals in life. And if you are looking for someone with a great playlist, Gaby is your girl.

Look no further than the younger Gomez brother to keep you honest but also captivated. Kyle, Garrett's younger brother and another of Riley's closest friends, is as veracious as they come. Whether it's telling you how awful you are at a video game or delightfully listening to a subject you're passionate about, you always know Kyle is giving you his honest self.
Chelsea Pagan

Luz and Chelsea met in San Jose when they were working at the same family law firm. They went from co-workers to close friends when Chelsea started Active 20-30 Club of San Jose and spent lots of time together making each other laugh and bonded over their passion to help give back to their community. One of Luz's favorite memories is attending the Active 20-30 National Convention in Carson City with Chelsea and killing it with their outfits for the themed events.

Fellow drummer and good friend Alec has known Riley since middle school. Riley admires how supportive and welcoming Alec and his family are, and he serves as an inspiration to Riley regularly.

Luz met Bianca when she became Bianca's neighbor 20 years ago. They grew up dancing to self-choreographed dance routines and singing karaoke to High School Musical and Britney Spears. Their longstanding friendship is proof that distance can't keep them apart and they will always be there for one another.

Jordan is one of Riley's oldest friends and most trusted confidants. Since their time at Coolidge Elementary Jordan has pushed Riley be his best self. Whether it was helping him in high school wrestling or simply lending his support, Jordan is the definition of a great friend.

Lennon is Luz and Riley’s sweet and fearless 3 year old niece. She is happiest playing with her chickens and visiting grandma and grandpa. We couldn't picture our special day without having Lennon's infectious smile there to make this day perfect.
