How do I get from the airport to the hotels?

Answer

Ubers are no longer allowed to pick up at the airport. Upon arrival, head to the "SAFE TAXI" ATM outside of arrivals area in Terminal A and C. We have used Golden taxis in the past. The drive is about a 35 minutes without traffic. Traffic can get really bad between 8:30-10am and 5-7:30pm so I'd recommend planning flights around these times if possible. https://www.uber.com/global/en/airports/mty/

Where should we eat?

Answer

Monterrey has AMAZING food! My favorites are: 1) Frida Chilaquiles for the BEST chilaquiles. Make sure to add a side of grilled panela cheese! 2) Ojo de Agua- health forward Mexican restaurant 3) Bread- located right next to the JW hotel. 4) Bennell- try the Bomba Chilanga (a concha stuffed with chilaquiles) 5) Nectarworks- right next to the JW. Has great smoothies and bowls!

What should I expect on the wedding day?

Answer

There are a few differences you may notice. 1) A host will ask for your name and take you to your assigned table. 2) Each table is assigned a server who will take your drink orders throughout dinner. 3) The only bar you can go to and order a drink will be at the cocktail hour. After this, servers will be filling your drink throughout the night.
