Several years ago when Facebook was at its peak and television shows like Jersey Shore captivated a generation a younger version of ourselves happened to cross paths frequenting a couple of the night spots of downtown Hartford. What would seem to be one-off friendly encounters would ultimately forever change both of our lives.. Let several years pass and some personal growth take place for both of us. Through the grace of social media we never lost touch being able to interact with one another's profiles to 'like' a picture, leave a comment or send a message if we felt so bold. As this increased we felt it was time to see each other again in person after almost a decade. We spent very few days apart after that and our relationship began to grow. Nights in watching movies and cooking home-style dinners filled our weeks and weekends. Family trips, small hikes, learning to ski, trips to the beach and nights out on the town always gave us something to look forward to, especially being able to do it all together. As we fell deeper in love, moving in together and finding out the joyous news that Kim was pregnant we couldn't help but feel there was never a better time to plant our roots permanently in Connecticut, close to our friends and family. We bought a property in Plainville where we will overlook Farmington valley and raise our family. This journey has been Swift (wink), beautiful and so special. We are so appreciative that everyone joining us at our wedding has taken the time to watch us fortify our love and give ourselves to one another for the rest of our lives.
