We’re getting married!

Cassandra and Steven met during their freshman year together at Union University in the fall of 2013. They shared a class or two, but mostly spent time with different circles of friends. For her sophomore year, Cassandra transferred to the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and moved east while Steven stayed in Jackson. For the next couple of years, Steven would occasionally message Cassandra on various social media platforms, consistently striking out. Finally in November 2017, Cassandra reached out to Steven while she was at a concert. After seeing Steven, she was instantly love-struck. They began dating on February 9, 2018 while Cassandra still lived in Chattanooga and Steven was in Jackson. Finally after a year and a half of commuting every other weekend, Steven moved to Chattanooga to be with Cassandra full time. He proposed on March 7, 2020 at the Okeechobee music festival in Florida.
