Cheyenne (aka CheyChey, Cheyenne McGillicutty, and Chy) grew up in Portland, Texas, the oldest of three. She had two speeds as a child, fast and faster. She has always been free spirited, hard headed and determined. Cheyenne will always accomplish whatever she puts her mind to, she has handled every bump in the road with grace and confidence. She played basketball, sang in the choir and was a writer for the high school newspaper where she earned her lettermen for news writing. Cheyenne graduated from Gregory Portland HS in 2016 and after graduating moved to Dallas to go to school for Nuclear Medicine. Cheyenne's heart took a different turn and is now working on her Real Estate certifications and is a Leasing and Marketing Manager for an apartment complex.
There are not words for how proud I am of Aaron. He has always been determined to be his own person. Even his first nightmares were waking up screaming “Do it my way ! Do it myself!!” Leaving the house was always a challenge because he had to dress himself and his shoes had to be perfectly tied even. I can say I was so excited when Velcro shoes came out. Aaron has always been determined he wanted to be the fastest he always wanted to be first at everything and was running at full speed! Even when he learned to ride without training wheels he took off and rode all the way to the house without stopping with mom in chase. Aaron has always had a kind heart thinking of others feelings. As a mom I couldn’t be more excited to see him turn into a young man that is always figuring out things on his own. He knows I am here for him but chooses to follow his own path. I know that Aaron will always find his way. I have prayed for him to find love in someone that truly sees him for his true self. From the moment he met Cheyenne I saw him become a man. I know that their love for each other will continue to grow and bring them through all the challenges life brings. -Mom
