After several failed online dating attempts by Karen, she decided she would give it one last try in hopes to find her Prince Charming. She joined Match.com in late August of 2023. It took maybe a week or two before she came across Adam's profile. Karen was not one to typically reach out first, but there was something so compelling about Adam's profile. Maybe it was the random fact that he ate 2 oranges a day or maybe it was his stunning good looks. She ended up making the first move and sent a message not really expecting a response. Adam responded and they started messaging back and forth. Finally, they agreed to talk on the phone. That first conversation lasted 3 hours. About a week later they had their first date. The date ended with a hug and interest to go out again. A week later was date number 2. The next day, Adam asked Karen to be his girlfriend. As they got to know each other better, they discovered they met their perfect nerd match. While Karen keeps Adam on his toes by dragging him to this event and another, he is always coming in clutch with random facts of knowledge. Did you know there is no such thing as a vegetable? On November 22, 2025, Adam pulled off the unthinkable and purposed to Karen at The Ohio State football game against Rutgers by putting it on the scoreboard during halftime. It's still amazing that he was able to keep it a secret and pull off the surprise. Now they are ready to embark on their Happily Ever After and are excited to see what the future holds.
