Where and when are you guys getting married?

Answer

We are having our ceremony and reception at The Maxwell House. 55 S Grand Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105. The ceremony begins at 1 pm. **We STRONGLY suggest guests arrive on time. Once the ceremony begins guests will not be permitted to take their seats until after the ceremony has concluded.

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited occupancy at the venue, we can not allow any additional guests that were not already added to your RSVP.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is: Cocktail. We want to see and celebrate with you all, looking all of our bests. Ladies dresses that are knee-length or longer a nice jumpsuit/ pant suit. Gentlemen a suit, button up shirt, blazer, slacks, a tie. NO jeans or sneakers. Color choice can be anything BUT no white, creams, ivories. (yes this HAS to be said unfortunately)

Can I bring my Kid(s)?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, if you do not see your child on your plus one on the RSVP, then unfortunately they can not attend. With that being said for the guests that DO have their children as a plus 1, if you know you have to make sure your child isn't fussing during the ceremony or running around the dance floor during first dances, then we STRONGLY encourage you to give yourself the night off and celebrate with us.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes there will be an open bar. Drinks are on us! Hangovers are on you! Get ready to have fun!

Can I take photos?

Answer

We will be having an Unplugged Ceremony. That means during the ceremony we ask that you be in the moment with us and let the professionals (expensive professionals may we add) capture the moment for us. We want to be able to look back at your beautiful faces and not the back of you phones for our memories! We promise to share them with you as soon as we get them. For Cocktail Hour and Reception please feel free to take as many pictures as your heart desires. We ask if you could kindly tag us using our hashtag #lutacris2023 in any socials to keep track of all the photos you take!

Hotel Accommodations

Answer

We will be staying at The Hilton Pasadena. We have listed a few hotels under the "Travel" section that are near the venue.

Do you guys have a registry?

Answer

No, we do not have a registry. Since we have been living together for SOOO many years we do not require the usual pots, bedding, toaster gifts. We do humbly asks that if you are gracious enough to bless us with something, it would be to contribute to our "Nesting fund" to help us have a good start to the next chapter of our lives together. That would be buying a home!

Is the ceremony and reception in the same location? Is it indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all at the same venue. The ceremony will take place at the venues outdoor patio, cocktail hour will follow where both cocktails and reception will be held inside the venue.

Is there any parking?

Answer

Yes there is a free parking lot located down the street, across from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, whose address is: 125 S Grand Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105

Color Themes?

Answer

The color theme for the wedding is neutrals/earth tones. Browns, taupes, gray, olives, terracotta ( brownish-orange). Again no creams, whites, or ivories please!

Covid Policy?

Answer

The venue has lifted the policies that had in place. With that being said we highly recommend masks for guests who may have compromised immune systems.

When to RSVP?

Answer

We will have the RSVP deadline by March 17th. We have to place a deadline in order for the caterers to accommodate the quantity of guests that will attend. That being said if you do not RSVP by the deadline we unfortunately will not have you on the guest list to enter.

When does the reception end? Will there be an after party?

Answer

The reception will conclude at 10 pm. We are having an After Party celebration promptly after the reception at The Blind Donkey for anyone that would like to join us! The Blind Donkey 53 E. Union St. Pasadena, CA 91103
