We're getting married!

Neither of us remember how it happened, but we were both at a summer carnival in the middle of Provo. At the end of the carnival, frustrated at Dustin's timidness, I asked him for his number. After a fruitless few "hang outs", I gave up on my crusade to court Dustin. A few years later I found Dustin in my basement. Don't worry, he was invited. We reconnected, followed each other on social media, and continued to see each other at house parties across Provo. We occasionally matched on dating apps but never seemed to do anything about it. Looking back, we realized we only lived two blocks away from each other our entire time at BYU. Once we both moved 2,000 miles away from each other, me to SF and Dustin to Indiana, we decided to start talking again. Well, Dustin decided to respond to my Instagram stories again. Religiously. After months of FaceTiming every day, Dustin came to visit me in San Francisco. I kissed him as soon as I saw him and he'll never live that down. But something strange happened - as soon as he left to go back to the airport we felt like something was wrong. Like we'd miss each other too much. Fast forward to 1.75ish years of long distance later, we received the miracle of all miracles and both got jobs in Utah 2 weeks apart from each other. We've been through a lot, but it's all been worth it. We've waited a long time for this day, so party accordingly!
