As you all may know, Luschan and I are engaged and are planning to be married later this year. In the months after our engagement we of course discussed different options for how to walk down the aisle. We ended up planning on getting hitched in the traditional style. After many tears and stressful planning over both family relations and finances we have reevaluated. Luschan and I will be beginning our marriage how it should be, with solely him and I. With trusted family near, we have decided to elope in Nevada this fall. We hope later this year that we will all celebrate together. Thank you so much for understanding. With nothing but love, Luschan and Mariah.
I met Mariah my second year of high school. I was outside for lunch and saw this stunning girl in a group with my friends. I asked my closest friend who she was and when he told me, I tried to be cool and said I was gonna go talk to her.. Long story short I didn't talk to her. But we became friends all throughout school, and eventually when we both left school, we found each other again. I actually gained the courage to talk to her this time, and here we are. I waited four years for my forever love. I'd say that's a pretty good trade.
I do not remember the first time I ever met Luschan. I don't remember the first time we talked, the first time I saw him, or the first time I heard his name. Something I will never forget though is the way that he saved my life. Luschan and I were friends all through high school until he dropped out his junior year (funny enough I dropped out my Junior year as well). We ended up reconnecting the very beginning of my 3rd year of high school, as the year went on my mental health declined. I pushed everyone away including him, eventually the sun came up and he found his way back into my life. Little did I know this would be the best decision I made. Before, The dog and three cats there were hidden feelings. I had thought Luschan was handsome for a lot longer than I'd like to admit. In front of his parents home we kissed, after knowing each other for three years something more than platonic love started to blossom. He learned my story and became my main protector and to him I became his teacher. Together we became adults together, navigating through life's challenges and pleasures. Together we have accomplished: drivers licenses, graduating, moving states, puppy training, bills and so much more. Marriage should be easy right?
