Our life

We met in our current home at a birthday party I ((Lurlene) was hosting for my cousin, but we didn’t know what GOD had up his sleeves for us. As we became closer, we knew that our search for happiness & love was over. Lurlene- I couldn’t fight the feeling that was coming over me & I don’t think I wanted to. He took care of my mom like she was his own. I didn’t have to explain to him that my mom & I were a packaged deal. She loved him so much and passed on content knowing that her child was in good hands. I wish my father would have met him. He would be so happy for me. Charles- I met the love of my life in her home during a birthday party for her cousin. When I put my eyes on her, I knew at that moment she was the one. I saw THAT look in her eyes when our eyes locked. The hairs on my skin began to stand & I had to ask myself “Blues, is this what you are really feeling?” The answer was “yes”!! Don’t be bashful, that’s the one for you. The rest is history
