we can't wait to celebrate with you!

We met in the 6th grade. While we had tons of classes together, we bonded and cemented our friendship in student council and its subsequent after school activities - which included an ongoing stream of 'Friends' (thanks Mrs. Nickel!). Mrs. Nickel was convinced that we were each others 'lobsters,' (i.e. we were meant to be) even though we denied the possibility and insisted she was insane. It was several years and separate interests (including love interests) later, before the universe would draw us romantically to one another. Our junior year of high school we started leaning on each other and communicating constantly. By December we were getting coffee and going Christmas shopping together. We were close, platonic friends. On January 29, 2007 that changed when we had our (toe curling) first kiss and we would finally acknowledge our chemistry and the connection that can only come with also being best friends. We've been best friends ever since.
