We met how lots of couples meet....on a dating app! Megan was new to CT moving from central New York to further her career in college athletics. Megan watched her new roommate go on dates from dating apps and enjoyed hearing about all the "fun" cringe worthy stories she would come home with. This led Megan to sign up as well, since it was working out so terribly for her roommate (who later gave it another shot and found her special someone and have their own fun story to share). Thankfully Megan met Shawn, who had been drawn to Megan by a photo of her hiking with a pup....he later found out wasn't hers, just using the pup to catch the fellas. Due to Megan's busy work schedule around athletic events it was hard to connect with Shawn, their first date was going to be a brewery (which would be a shock to no one who knows Megan and Shawn). But Shawn didn't want to wait to meet her, so when Megan was at PF Chang's grabbing a drink solo after a 12 hour day work day on a cold November day, he asked if he could meet up for a drink and in her tired frozen state, she agreed! The rest is history....breweries, getting a pup of their own, a new home and lots of adventures!
