It was June 6, 2019 at Union Reservoir. Sofia went to spend the day with friends and her best friend Hailey invited her boyfriend and a few of his friends to come along. Sofia and Lupe barely spoke but spent the day stealing glances. At the end of the day one of her friends was certain Lupe was looking at her. Sofia, being a good friend, was did not share her interest in him but he had other ideas. At a party a few days later Lupe asked Hailey for Sofia's snapchat and the rest is history. That summer Sofia had lots of travel so it wasn't until August 27th that they became official. Not long after, Lupe knew that Sofia was 'The One'. He began asking for permission to marry her before her 16th birthday. While this request was not always taken seriously, he never waivered. It wasn't until after she turned 18 and graduated high school that the hypothetical request became a reality. October 3rd, 2022 Lupe made it official and with her parent's blessing and with their cousin Isaac capturing the moment in photos he asked and Sofia said "yes"!

Early in our relationship Sofia had to go to the store for school supplies. On the drive home Lupe was blasting Bruno Mars and they sang along to the music.

Mountain Drives, watching movies at home, and eating!

We've been on many trips over the years and Lake of the Ozarks was the most memorable. We loved spending our days boating and tubing on the lake

One day it is our goal to own land, raise animals, and raise a family

During Covid quarantine we drove to Wyoming just to turn around and drive back. No destination just driving, talking, and listening to music.
