Jadin and Mike met in the Spring of 2018 when they both accepted jobs for a Minor League Baseball team in Wilmington, Delaware. The receptionist of the team took her lunch break like clockwork everyday and left the front desk unattended for an hour each day. It was up to the seasonal employees, which Jadin was one of, to stand guard during this one hour window. Mike, having the hots for Jadin, would peer at the sign-up sheet on the door to see when Jadin would be covering the shift and purposely go out the side entrance of the stadium and back in the front door just to have a small interaction with Jadin and to become a blip on her radar. It wasn’t until the end of the summer that they began seeing each other outside of work. After going on several dates, including Jadin introducing Mike to the atrocity of pineapple on pizza, which Mike absolutely did not love but pretended to like just for Jadin, the two shared their first kiss walking around Mike’s neighborhood of Trolley Square. Mike finally got the courage to officially ask Jadin to be his girlfriend that Christmas Eve when he took her to his aunt's house in New City and was going to be introducing her to a large majority of his dad’s side of the family, including his dad and step-mom. The two share a love for live music and in the summer of 2019, they went to Warped Tour on the beach in Atlantic City. The night ended with Mike serenading Jadin with his songbird voice to Blink-182’s hit “I Miss You”. Jadin will tell you this is the moment she knew she was falling in love with Mike. That fall, the couple would move to Phoenix, Arizona; a place they both loved to visit but would ultimately not love to call home. In the Spring of 2021, Mike accepted a job in Albany, New York and the two uprooted back to the east coast where they reside today with the absolute light of their lives, Beau. If you don’t know who Beau is, you do not belong at this wedding. After living in beautiful upstate New York for several years, they decided this was the place they wanted to grow roots. In the fall of 2023, Mike planned a trip to one of Jadin’s favorite New York destinations, Angry Orchard. On the way into the orchards, Mike dropped to one knee and asked “Will you marry me?” (there were other words before this but they are for us only). Jadin replied emphatically “Are you for real!? Are you serious!?” several times over before finally saying “YES!”. Now, 14 months later, they stand across from one another prepared to say “I do!” with you in attendance.
