Dress in whatever makes you feel Fall Festive—fun, bright, peachy, and celebratory. Think autumn colors, playful patterns, or anything that feels like October in Palisade, Colorado.
The ceremony will be outdoors, and we’ll have daytime activities between the ceremony and reception, with time to return to your hotel to relax and change before the evening festivities. If you’re planning to join one of the more active options, you may want to wear something comfortable and easy to move in. Fall weather in Palisade ranges from sunny and warm to breezy and cool. P.S. The path to the ceremony is flat earth and crushed stones and is approx 800 ft and unpaved. It is not a challenging path to walk but is worth noting for those wearing high heels or using strollers. If you have any mobility or seating concerns, please let us know!
Wine Tasting (Optional)

Immediately after the ceremony, guests are welcome to stay for wine tasting! The Colterris at the Overlook has both pairing options as well as wines by the glass/bottle. If wine isn’t your thing, don’t worry—there will be other activity options . Choose your adventure: sip, explore, relax, or simply wander around looking fabulous. All paths are correct.
Alpaca Hangout (Optional)

Prefer something fluffier than wine? Head to the alpaca farm! Yes, an actual alpaca farm. You’ll get to meet some extremely stylish, very judgmental, and surprisingly photogenic animals. Pet them, stroll around, take a million photos—whatever your spirit calls for. Just please refrain from taking fashion advice from them… their confidence is contagious but their hairstyles are not for everyone.
Grand Junction Air Show (Optional)

Feeling adventurous? Head to the Grand Junction Air Show, where the planes are loud, the stunts are wild, and you’ll definitely say “whoa” more times than you planned. Expect fast jets, cool tricks, and at least one moment where you pretend you totally understand aviation. Grab a seat, look up, and enjoy the show—just don’t try any of the moves later at the reception dance floor.
