Funky formal: Elevated and elegant, but fun! Tuxedos are warmly encouraged, but suits are welcomed too. Long gowns or cocktail dresses in bright colors, bold prints, playful textures, and all the sequins, fringe, and embellishments your heart desires.

No. We are restricted from using the parking lot at the venue and the adjacent properties. We will have a shuttle service that will travel between the venue and a few pick-up/drop-off points. Please let us know when you RSVP where you plan to stay and we can advise you on the closest pick-up/drop-off point. If you book a room at the adjacent hotel, Big Sur River Inn, you can walk to and from the venue.
While you may be able to easily book a rideshare from bigger cities like Carmel/Monterey, Big Sur’s lack of drivers in the remote area and unreliable cell reception may make it impossible to order a return ride to your accommodation. If you choose to use a rideshare service, please make sure to prearrange your ride back to avoid becoming stranded.
We will arrange a shuttle local to the Big Sur area and a shuttle to Carmel River Inn. We can ask the shuttle drivers to make a few stops depending on how many people book rooms in different locations. Please let us know which hotel you’ve made arrangements at when you RSVP so that we can plan accordingly. If you choose a hotel outside of these locations, it will be your responsibility to get to and from the pick-up point.
