FAQs

A few things you might be wondering — because we know weddings come with plenty of “what time, where, and can I wear this?” moments. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! For any other questions, feel free to reach out to Patricia Anthony (+60 12-488 8506) or Ravi Narayanan (+60 12-476 8506) — they’ll be happy to help.
Question

💍 What should I wear?

Answer

For the church ceremony, we kindly ask guests to dress modestly while embracing colour and joy! Think elegant, bold hues (preferably without prints) for a polished yet vibrant look that reflects the spirit of the day. Men are encouraged to wear a suit. Please avoid wearing white or black dresses — we’d love the photos to feel bright, warm, and full of colour. 🌸 https://www.pinterest.com/pin/18647785951206713/ https://www.pinterest.com/pin/5066618330291925/ https://www.pinterest.com/pin/351912466207950/ https://www.pinterest.com/pin/12947917675391600/

Question

⛪ Where is the ceremony taking place?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be held at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Penang, Malaysia. An Indian lunch buffet will follow right after the ceremony in the church hall.

Question

🕙 What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 11:00 AM sharp. We recommend arriving by 10:30 AM to settle in and enjoy the pre-wedding excitement.

Question

🎁 Do you have a gift registry or cash fund?

Answer

Your love, presence, and prayers are truly the best gifts. If you’d like to bless us further, we’ve set up a small cash fund to help us start our new life together — details can be found on our Registry page.

Question

🚗 Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! The cathedral has on-site parking, and additional spaces will be available nearby. Our ushers will be around to guide you.

Question

💐 Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes! We’d love for you to share the celebration with someone special. Please let us know their name when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

📸 Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

You’re welcome to take photos, but please be mindful of our photographer and respectful of the church setting. We kindly ask that phones be kept on silent mode throughout the ceremony so everyone can fully enjoy the moment.
