The Short answer is: We want you to wear what you feel good in! The Technical answer is: Black Tie Optional When we were deciding the dress code we wanted it to be formal enough so that you can finally reach into the back of your closet and wear that one floor-length gown, fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit that you complain about not having the occasion to wear. While at the same time we want you to have the freedom to wear you're favorite tea-length, knee-length, or midi dress. We want you to have fun with your look, feel free to wear bolder colors (Not White) and fun accessories. For the Men: Men can wear anything from a Tuxedo to a button down shirt and slacks. The bridal Party and parents will be wearing dark suits with ties, but you can bet as soon as I get a chance to take that tie off I will! So don't feel like you need to wear one. Have fun with your colors and accessories if you have them but if not just come with what you've got!
