FAQs

Question

Where should I fly into?

Answer

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

The church is in downtown Phoenix and the venue is in Mesa. We do not recommend staying in Mesa, the venue is on the outskirts of Mesa towards Scottsdale. If you want to make the most out of your trip we recommend you book a rental or hotel room in the Old Town Scottsdale area and you will be right in between where you need to be for the wedding with plenty to do around you!

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Nope! We're not that bossy, stay wherever you prefer

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests dress in formal attire: suit & tie or long dress encouraged. We recommend muted neutral tones. Unfortunately, swimming isn't allowed and bathing suits are not required. If you end up in the pool we would hope that it's an accident and recommend taking off all of your clothes first while doing a funny dance (formal attire can get heavy when it's wet). If you need help text Kate! (708) 259-3153

Question

Should I drive to the wedding?

Answer

For the ceremony, we will have access to a parking garage across the street from the church and you are welcome to drive! There will be some time left over in between the ceremony and the reception, we recommend using that time to drop off your car where you are staying and getting a ride to the venue if you are planning on drinking. There is parking available at the venue and you are also welcome to drive. You can leave your car overnight if you choose to have a few too many drinks (Did you know you can pick your own music in a Waymo? ... so fun!)

Question

What should I do in between the ceremony & the reception?

Answer

There is a restaurant next door to our venue called Board & Batten (4012 E Palm St, Mesa, AZ 85215). If you want to get close to the venue & grab a quick drink or snack, we would recommend heading over there until the cocktail hour at the venue begins.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation did not explicitly state guest or the name of your guest you are not welcome to bring one due to capacity reasons. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your kids but please leave them at home this time! (Unless they are above a certain age and were listed on the invitation).
