Luca, grafico e graffitaro di un piccolo paese chiamato Rocchetta a Volturno, non avrebbe mai pensato che la sua futura moglie sarebbe stata da una delle città piu popolate del mondo, Hong Kong e che tra tutte le professioni un ingegnere chimico. Kiki non immaginava che il suo futuro marito sarebbe un abbellitore dei muri del suo paese con il suo nome. “Tranquillo”, una delle sue parole preferite, è la sua risposta per la maggior parte delle cose- “vai tranquillo, sta tutt’apposto”. Dall’altra parte Kiki è piu per efficienza e struttura. Sai tipo quei compagni di scuola ambiziosi che pensi dovrebbero vivere di piu. Loro sono cresciuti in ambienti cosi diversi, se non addirittura opposti. Quindi cosa gli ha fatti incontrare? Un filo invisibile. Un filo che ha toccato diverse persone da sei diverse nazioni, prendendo particolari decisioni facendo in modo che ciò accadesse. Le persone più importanti sono ovviamente i loro genitori, senza di loro, i due non esisterebbero. Andiamo avanti velocemente fino al 2008, a quando il filo iniziò a formarsi. Pio, un compagno Rocchettano era a Chicago dove conobbe Christopher. Quando Luca si trasferì a Chitown nel 2013, Pio fece conoscere i due. Luca diventò un frequentatore abituale delle sue feste a base di pizza, dove conobbe la futura moglie di Chris, Saeko e la sua amica Michi. Nel 2012 Kiki si trasferi’ da LA a Chicago per lavoro (grazie a Jessica), dove la sua amica Michele la introdusse ad un gruppo di appassionate di cibo ed insieme andavano a provare nuovi ristoranti la domenica sera. Li conobbe Kathy e Yolanda, già amiche di Michi. Il 16 aprile 2015 i due si sono finalmente incontrati ad una cena organizzata da Michi. La cena è chiamata Taste of Tuscany dove I due si sono divertiti così tanto che hanno iniziato a seguirsi su Facebook, poi sms, incontri, e alcuni momenti imbarazzanti, come quando Kiki è scappata mentre Luca cercava di salutarla con un bacio. Poco dopo, Luki era nato! Il filo invisibile era fettuccine!

Luca, a graphic designer/graffiti artist from a small town called Rocchetta a Volturno, never thought his future wife would be from one of the world’s most densely populated cities - Hong Kong and of all occupations, a chemical engineer. Kiki didn't expect her future husband to be one who had “beautified” the walls of his town with his name either. “Tranquillo,” one of Luca’s favorite sayings, is his response to most things in life - "chill out, it'll be fine." On the other hand, Kiki appreciates efficiency and structure. You know, like those over-achiever classmates you think they should just live a little. Yup, that! Their distinct upbringing had led to quite different, if not opposite, personalities. So what brought them together? An invisible string. One that took many people from six different countries, making particular decisions at particular times for this to happen. The most critical people are obviously their parents, without them, the two wouldn't be in the universe. Let's fast forward to 2008, that's really when the string started to get some momentum. Pio, a fellow Rocchettan, was working in Chicago where he met Chris. When Luca moved to Chitown in 2013, Pio connected the two and Luca quickly became a regular at Chris' pizza parties where he met Chris' future/now wife Saeko and her friend Michi. In 2012, Kiki moved to Chicago from LA for a job opportunity (thanks to Jess). Her Chicagoan friend Michele introduced her to a foodies group where they would go try new restaurants on Sunday nights. This was where she met Kathy and Yolanda who are friends with Michi. On April 16, 2015, the two finally met at a dinner that Michi organized. Taste of Tuscany, the dinner was called. The two had such a great time that they started stalking each other on Facebook, followed by texts, emojis, dates and a few awkward moments, like Kiki running away as Luca tried to give her a goodbye kiss. Shortly after, Luki was born! The invisible string was fettuccine!
