Table 1 - Levi
Meet Mr. Levi! Roughly 4 years old and 65 lbs, Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix. He is an energetic baby who would love to accompany you on your daily walks or runs. LOVES stuffies and playing tug a war. Very affectionate, sweet and happy boy that we believe would do well with children and others pets in the house
Table 2 - Earl
Earl is a 3 year old 30lb pure bred beagle who is on the hunt for a forever family. True to his breed Earl is extremely intelligent, friendly and gentle. He is such a loyal boy and loves everyone he meets! This sweet beagle boy is way too friendly and happy go lucky to be sitting in a shelter without a home. Wouldn't you agree? He often gives “sad eyes" wondering why a family hasn't scooped him up yet.
Table 3 - Norbert
Norbert is a 7-year-old, 80-pound husky/Great Pyrenees mix and he is a head turner for sure. You will be stopped by people on the street who want to admire the Blue Steel gaze of Norbert. Norbert is good with people and with dogs. He is moderately active and is capable of bursts of speed followed by intense period of slothfulness. He has good manners and is a really nice dog.
Table 4 - Emmy
Sweet Emmy is a 7 year old Lab/Shepherd mix who weighs 67 lbs. She loves to go for car rides, hang out with people and play, and have her butt and ears scratched. Emmy loves to swim in a pool too!! Emmy would be a wonderful companion dog for an empty nester as would do best in a quiet home, possibly as the only pet. Emmy requires a fenced yard where she can safely run and play. Emmy is a very loving girl that is looking to be loved and spoiled for the rest of her life.
Table 5 - Jack
Once Jack’s old owner found out he was Heart worm positive, he no longer wanted him and abandoned Jack at the shelter. (his heart worm treatment is complete). Jack is 6 years old and just the happiest, most curious and adventurous guy. He has the cutest overly excited tippy tap toes for everyone he meets. He is super smart & extremely food motivated. If you love taking long walks enjoying the scenery, Jack really wants to join you. If you’re looking for an adorable, loyal friend with the cutest wiggle butt, Jack is your guy
Table 6 - Kinsale
Hi! My name is Kinsale. I am an adorable 5 year old shepherd mix who is looking for my forever home. I have lots of energy, but after a good walk or run I love to come inside and chill. I would be in heaven if I could curl up on the couch with you in the evening and sleep snuggled next to you in bed. I am super smart, learning new tricks and commands quickly. I have lived with other dogs in the past (no cats). I would do best with children 10 years old and older.
Table 7 - Clara
Lets talk about Ms. Clara, this wonderful girl is looking for a person or family to give her all the LOVINS. This amazing girl has found herself looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She loves to be by her persons side and just relax, and with some motivation loves to be active as well. She does need some exercise to take some of the excess weight off. Would do great in a home with other dogs, and likely cats (needs to be tested)
Table 8 - Benny
Benny is believed to be 8-10 years old, and was brought to shelter from a hoarding situation. Benny would like a home with like-minded people who enjoy naps and cuddles and letting a 70lb dog hang out on their lap. We don’t think he’d enjoy the activity level and unpredictability of young children but may really enjoy hanging out with older kids. Don't let the senior aspect of this good boy deter you. He is a gem who has lots of love to give, loves getting attention from everyone he meets, and will sneak attack you with kisses!
Table 9 - Rooster
It doesn't get much cuter than this 5 yr old gentleman that was transferred from animal control. He's an absolute ham of a dog and a FANTASTIC adventure buddy! He walks very well on a leash. Never barks. He is curious of animals but listens and will redirect. He is gentle and calm, does amazing in the car and jumps up and down on his own. He is VERY patient. Curious of all the smells and loves fresh grass to roll in. He also takes his treats very gently and will thank you with a big, slobby kiss
Table 10 - Scout
Scout is approximately 7 years old. He is people friendly and has been in a home with small children. Scout is house and crate trained, knows some basic commands, is a good traveler in the car and ok on leash (although he can pull pretty hard if a "critter" is in sight!) Scout likes playing with his toys and kiddie swimming pool. He enjoys snuggle time, belly rubs and will return those pleasant things with thankful kisses!
Head Table - Carmen
Meet Carmen! 3 year old pint size Pit Bull mix, that was a transfer from animal control. She quickly became a volunteer favorite, LOVES meeting new people and interacting with all dogs (Carmen believes it’s her job to be friends make every new shy dog that arrives). Carmen has a scar on her face. We are not sure what it is from but it definitely gives her character! She will gladly jump in the car, and rides great in the backseat. Takes food SO, SO gently, and LOVES cheeseburgers! Fenced in yard proffered- she will chase squirrels.
Eligible Bachelor @ the Bar - Bauer
Mr. Bauer is 3 yr old, 63 lb, pittie mix. He loves play time and would do best with an active family. While he loves to play with humans, he can also entertain himself with a good toy in the yard. He’s really social and would love to meet other dogs! Can you believe this good boy hasn’t received one application?!
Bachelorette @ the Bar - Abby
Meet Abby! Abby came to us as a surrender, when her family could not financially take care of her. Abby has some chronic allergy issues, which are currently being controlled, although she will need regular veterinary care and likely prescription meds at certain times of the year. She has lived with kids in the past, but prefers to be the only dog in the home. She is a pittie/bulldog-type mix, and is 3-4 years old
Men’s Restroom - Apollo
Apollo was a surrender due to owner’s health issues. He is approximately 9 years old, 70 lb American Bully/ Lab mix. He is a very sweet, lovable, soulful boy. He lights up when he sees a tennis ball, loves bones and treats. He enjoys napping in the sun outside, and thinks he’s a lap dog.
Women’s Restroom - Maxine
Maxine is 11 years old and is such a lover girl! Still energetic, loves going for long walks, and playing fetch. Maxine loves her toys and does best when she has a few to keep her busy. She lives with other dogs but would be fine in a home by herself since she loves people and enjoys being the center of attention. She is very affectionate and loving, always wanting to be in your lap giving kisses. Maxine is crate trained and knows basic commands.
Empty the Shelters
This lifesaving reduced-fee adoption event is a Win-Win-Win: Adopters win because BPF pays the adoption fees allowing them to take home a fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered pet who is ready to be loved for $50 or less (much more affordable than purchasing a pet!)
