During the pandemic, Austin asked Luke, Madison, and Ashton to play Dungeons and Dragons because it was something we could all do online and we all had the time to play. We didn't know what each other looked like for a long time but as we all played, we became friends. Madison even developed a crush on Luke while they played. We eventually found out we were both Christians and had a lot in common. So after some prayer, God showed Luke that the girl he was already friends with was the one he had been searching for. So Luke trusted God, asked Madison out in December 2021, and here we are!
While we love the little ones, we kindly request an adult-only reception, the exception being family members of the wedding party. Thank you for your understanding.
If you are able to attend the reception, we request you also attend the ceremony. The ceremony is very important to us and is a special part of the day, so we would like to celebrate the day in its entirety with you.
The livestream will be available on YouTube starting at 2:45pm on 4/25/25. More information will be coming soon.
Please plan to arrive at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center at 5:00pm. This allows our caterer and bar service team enough time to prepare the space accordingly. We invite everyone to enjoy the appetizers and mingling at Calvary Bible Church immediately after the ceremony! While at the Grange, you may also spend some time playing the yard games we will have available.
Yes, there will be an open bar available with limited selections of beer, wine, and hard seltzers at the reception only. We encourage the merriment of celebrating the occasion with drinking in moderation and not over-excessiveness.
Free, surface lots are available at both venues. At the church, there will be some reserved spaces, however, additional parking will be available across the street at the Columbus Metropolitan Library: Whetstone Branch. For the Grange Audubon Center, there are only 90 parking spots total. So we encourage carpooling and leaving the closet spots for people who would benefit the most (those with wheelchairs, the elderly, and those with a disability). Note you CANNOT park on the grass at the Grange. We're not responsible for anyone parking on the grass getting towed or fined.
Both the ceremony and the reception will be indoors. At the reception, we will have more outdoor elements with yard games and areas to mingle or explore, however the dinner, bar, and dancing will all be indoors.
Luke lives in Indianapolis, Indiana and Madison lives in Columbus, Ohio, so one of us must move. After praying about it and discussing it, we decided to live in Ohio and Luke will be moving. We trust God that doors will open for a place to live and for Luke to find a good job. God has brought us this far so and we know He will keep guiding us
The wedding colors are navy, rust, and teal. Wearing the wedding colors is not required. We welcome everyone to wear whatever is comfortable for them, provided it follows the formal dress code.
