We’re getting married!

From the first day they met, they were inseparable. On a warm, sunny day in May, there was an instant and undeniable connection between the two. May 15th, 2020 was the first week that the city had opened up since the Pandemic shut everything down a couple months prior. Two separate groups, a mixture of acquaintances and friends, were out to celebrate the occasion. The bride was hesitant to go as it had been a particularly grueling day at work, but ultimately was convinced – some may call it fate, others a lucky coincidence – whatever the case, it was the best decision she could have made. The groom and an old acquaintance were out at a work Happy Hour at the same time. Eventually the two groups collided. The bride arrived first, from the corner of her eye, a tall lumbering man walking across the street towards the bar caught her eye. They both made eye contact without realizing their lives would soon be forever intertwined. The bride sat first, followed by the groom who scooted into the corner of the booth next to her. And from that moment on an unknown excitement buzzed in the air between them - a fuzzy cloud enveloped them in that booth at Chelsea Corner. Between sharp witticisms and laughs, the conversation flowed without stop for hours long into the evening as they bounced from location to location. They were inseparable ever since. Neither one of them knew that agreeing to go to that happy hour would lead to the best days of their lives; so, for that the couple is eternally grateful to the universe and its coconspirators. As cheesy as it is, there is truth in the old sayings. When you meet the love of your life, something in you just knows. From there, the universe works for everything to fall into place at exactly the right time.
