When should I book my lodging?

We recommend booking your travel & lodging soon! This is a holiday weekend and things may book up. See the travel section of the website with suggestions on where to stay.

What are the dress code requirements?

Answer

For the welcome BBQ event, we’re going with a casual vibe, so feel free to dress comfortably! For the wedding ceremony and reception, we encourage formal dress. We love an excuse to dress to the nines & would love to see you looking fabulous -- outshine the bride if you’d like! Ultimately, we want you to feel comfortable and confident, so whether you choose jeans or a beautiful white dress, anything goes. Wear what makes you feel great!

Are kids invited?

We love children and would be thrilled to have them celebrate with us at Saturday's Welcome Event & Monday's Brunch. However, due to venue capacity, we can’t guarantee that we can accommodate all kids at Sunday's ceremony & reception. We will have some children that we are especially close to (those involved in our daily lives) at the ceremony, and if your attendance depends on bringing your little ones, please reach out to us.

Why are you getting married in Gualala?

Answer

Julia grew up visiting Sea Ranch with her family, and has treasured memories of vacationing there during Labor Day weekends. Knowing how special this place is to her, Luke chose to propose there after a beautiful weekend spent swimming, exploring the bluffs, and soaking in the breathtaking coastal views. While we were there, we discovered the charming Gualala Arts Center, which complements the unique beauty of Sea Ranch perfectly. We are excited to celebrate our wedding there with you!
