Can I bring a plus one?

Where can I stay?

Answer

There are many options for booking Air B&Bs or VRBOs, as well as bed and breakfasts that are nearby and walkable to the ceremony and reception, but be sure to book soon, as they will fill up! We also have a hotel block reserved for the Hampton Inn and Suites in Chillicothe.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear cocktail or semi formal attire for the ceremony and reception. This is a military wedding, so if you are active duty or retired military, you are welcome to wear your dress uniform.

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing an open alcoholic and nonalcoholic bar throughout the reception! Prost!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please notify the bride, groom, Susan Noah, or Cathy Whalen if you have any specific food allergies we need to consider. *This wedding will be a food dye-free wedding

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation from hotels to the ceremony/reception. Please plan a safe way to get back to your hotel or Air B&B after the reception. *The ceremony and reception locations are nearby and walkable (~3 minutes away and 0.1 miles)

Where do I park?

Answer

For the ceremony/reception, you can park at St. Mary’s Church which is a five minute walk to the Whalen Family’s home for the reception. If you would like to park closer to the reception venue, you may park on the street or in the parking lot adjacent to the reception venue (Glo Fiber parking lot).

What time is mass on Sunday?

Answer

Mass will be offered at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. or St. Peter’s Catholic Church at 8:00 a.m.

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

When you RSVP on the website, you will be able to RSVP for all events to which you are invited. Due to very limited space, the rehearsal dinner will only be open to those playing a direct role in the wedding ceremony. Please join us for the welcome event at the Pour House right after!

By when should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you know you will or will not be able to attend. We are requesting RSVPs to be sent no later than 24 April.
