Many of you know the story, but for those of you who don't, Luke and Whitley first met at Highlands High School. Luke was a football star and Whitley was an awkward little freshman. Luke was a year older than her, but every single year, they ended up in the same Business class. Fast forward 5 years later... Whitley's brother, Cameron started working with Luke... and the rest was history. July 5th, 2014 - First Date

August 4th, 2018 Whitley and Luke were meeting up with two friends for what Whitley thought was a birthday celebration. They met on a rooftop bar at The Banks. After a few drinks and some rumbling of thunder, Luke suggested they stand next to the balcony so they could look over into Kentucky and get a picture. As soon as Whitley heard "Forever Girl" by Jon Langston come over the intercom, she knew. She turned to Luke and he was getting on one knee and fumbling in his pocket. He took her hand and uttered 20 words... "Whitley, I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" She doesn't remember much of the speech, all she remembers is him looking deep into her eyes and her shaking her head up and down, rapidly. After a good minute and a half of holding each other, the rain started to come down and they heard a round of applause.
