We met on a backpacking trip along the Appalachian trial in November of 2018. Tessa was kind of new to the group that had planned the trip but she fit right in and made an impression on Luke that has lasted till this day. Tessa played hard to get for months. Risking it all, Luke gave Tessa a rose on Valentines day 2019 and shortly after she agreed to visit him in Florida during spring break. Tessa came to FL with other friends at the beginning of spring break and Luke flew a small plane to pick her up. After some SCUBA diving adventures and some talks about their mutual interest in each other the relationship was born.
