FAQs

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

If all goes to plan, then the ceremony will be held on the patio, with the reception being held in the building. Weather permitting, there will be a fire pit outside in the evening.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Question

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Luke and Tess are both rather nerdy, so expect to see some nerdy touches!

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Free parking is provided by the venue.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If they were included on the invitation, then yes! If not, we probably just missed something, so give us a call and ask.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If they were included on your invitation, then yes. Please RSVP if you intend to bring a date.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Please see the "Travel" section of the website. A hotel block has been made at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomington. Many good options for hotels, camping, cabins, and AirBNB exist in Nashville.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is April 20. They can either be mailed back or done online.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Dinner will be a barbecue buffet. There will also be an open bar with beer and wine.

Question

Will there be any vegan or vegetarian options?

Answer

Yes, just let us know ahead of time!
