FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by May 17, 2026. Those who RSVP past the deadline or who do not RSVP will be put down as NOT ATTENDING. Please make sure to do this as soon as possible!

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We ask that you wear formal attire: Ladies wear floor-length gowns or formal wear and the Gentlemen wear suits. We love a good excuse to dress up and can't wait to see everyone looking spiffy!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking on-site! Guests are allowed to leave their cars overnight, but the venue asks that guests pick their cars up by NOON the next day.

Question

Will the wedding be held outside or inside?

Answer

If weather permits, the ceremony will be held outside! For cocktail hour, we encourage our guests to enjoy the outdoor space of our venue, but there is also lots of indoor space available if needed. The reception will be indoors.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please see invitation to see how many are invited with your party. If allowed a plus one, you will be let know on your invitation as well as when you RSVP. We want this to be a special celebration with our closest family and friends, so we ask that you respect the number of guests invited in your party! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we love the little ones, we have decided for the day to be an adult only event. Unless otherwise stated on the invitation, we ask that you keep the little ones at home!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are LOTS of options near the venue that would be great options. Catalyst is located in Nature Link Resort which has 1-3 bedroom cabins or hotel rooms. This is a very convenient location for the wedding! There are also a large number of resorts around the area with many options of lodging: Grand View Lodge (our favorite), Madden's on Gull, Breezy Point Resort, and Cragun's. Another great option is staying at a cabin, Airbnb, or VRBO on a lake in the surrounding area. Both Luke and Sonia grew up going on the lakes in the nearby area and would love for others to experience the same fun they had!

Question

What is there to do in Nisswa?

Answer

Downtown Nisswa is a great town to walk around, shop, grab a bite to eat or get some ice cream! There is a wonderful walking path located in downtown Nisswa. Some favorite restaurants around the area are: Rafferty's (multiple locations), Zorbaz, Ernie's on Gull, and so many more! Boat days are our favorite way to pass the time in the summer in Minnesota. There are lots of lakes in the area that would be fun to rent a boat for the day. Some of these lakes include: Gull Lake, Pelican Lake, and Cross Lake. There are also some other options of entertainment around, such as mini golfing, golfing, or, especially, going to Breezy Point for Elvis Impersonation Nights on Saturdays!
