Our Story

Luke and Sienna’s story began long before they ever called it love. They met as two-year-olds at Calvary Chapel Yorba Linda, where they would spend the next decade side by side—preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, and junior high—always in the same class. Though they grew up together, they were never especially close. Still, their teachers seemed to sense something special, constantly pairing them together for class projects, as if they knew what the future held before Luke and Sienna did. It wasn’t until junior high that their friendship truly began to take shape. Conversations became more frequent, laughter came more easily, and a deeper connection quietly formed. After graduating eighth grade together, they faced something entirely new: separate paths. Luke went on to attend Esperanza High School, while Sienna enrolled at Orange Lutheran High School. For the first time in their lives, they weren’t in the same classroom. But distance never stood a chance. They stayed connected through constant texting and hours-long FaceTime calls, proving that what they were building couldn’t be limited by different campuses. In 2018, they attended their very first school dance together—Luke’s homecoming. That night marked the beginning of something neither of them would ever forget. The very next day, they officially began their relationship—one that has now spanned eight incredible years. Like any great love story, theirs has been filled with both joy and challenges. They experienced highs that brought them closer and lows that tested their strength. Though they broke up twice over the years, each time they found their way back to one another—stronger, more mature, and more certain of what they shared. Every chapter shaped them into better partners and better people. Then, on Christmas Day 2024, surrounded by both of their families, Luke got down on one knee and asked Sienna to spend forever with him. Eight years after that first dance, two kids who once sat next to each other in preschool were now engaged—proof that sometimes the best love stories aren’t rushed. They’re written slowly, over years of friendship, growth, and unwavering commitment. From toddlers in the same classroom to lifelong partners, Luke and Sienna’s story is a beautiful reminder that some love is simply meant to be.
