Question

What should I wear/is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire/dressy causal. Example clothing: Sundresses, polos, button downs, chinos/khakis or dress pants. Jackets and ties are acceptable but not required. Please no "good" jeans. Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outdoors and in the grass - please plan your footwear accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Doors open at 4:00PM and the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30PM, please arrive by at least 4:15PM to ensure you have time to walk to the ceremony site and find a seat.

Question

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting, and will require walking on grass. Reception will be held indoors, a short walk from the ceremony site.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, of course! We wouldn't make everyone watch and celebrate us without some coercion. We will be providing select beer, wine, and seltzers. Please do not bring your own alcohol.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions/allergies?

Answer

There is a spot on your RSVP to include any dietary restrictions or allergies. Please let us know through the RSVP and we will make sure you are accommodated appropriately.

Question

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Since this is a local wedding for all but a few, we do not intend to book any hotel blocks.

Question

Can I take pictures/videos during the wedding events?

Answer

Please do not take pictures or videos during the ceremony/reception events. We have paid plenty of money for photographers and videographers to ensure everything is captured. We would like everyone to be present in the moment, as well as not block other people with their phones. We would be more than happy to share video/pictures of the wedding events when available. Reception events are the introductions of the wedding party, first and parent dances, maid of honor and best man speeches, cake cutting, and send-off.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one/guest?

Answer

Your wedding invitation and online RSVP will indicate if you've been given a plus-one/guest.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to space limitations we are unable to accommodate all children for every invited guest. Your wedding invitation and online RSVP will indicate if your children are invited.

Question

Can I post pictures/videos to social media?

Answer

We ask that you do not post anything concerning our wedding until we have made an announcement on our social media. Once we have made our announcement, feel free to post pictures/video of yourself and your families. We request that if you have any pictures/video of us that you want to post, please run it by us first. While we ask that you do not take pictures/video of the ceremony or reception events, you are certainly more than welcome to during dancing and cocktail hour.
