Luke and I are childhood friends who made a marriage pact in 6th grade. We agreed that if we were still single at 30, we would just marry each other. Through our 20's, Luke joined the military, and I jumped full force into my career, but we both always had our promise to each other in the back of our heads. After 8 years, we reconnected by accident, and the rest is history. This past year we fell in love over long distance while Luke was deployed in Korea, and it was as if no time had passed between us. After traveling back and forth between his base in Alaska and Tennessee for the past year, we finally decided to make the move and live together in Alaska.

While we will be living full time in Alaska, we couldn't think of a better place to have a wedding than Luke's childhood home with all of our friends and family. The Ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. with drinks, dinner, and dancing to follow.

Luke went all out on the proposal, and the pictures truly show. He surprised me and took me on a detour when I came to visit him over the winter. He flew us to Anchorage for a spa day to relax and finally spend time together in person. He then took me to the top of a mountain, and when he told me to pose for him with his camera, I turned around, and he was on one knee with a photographer hidden in the trees. He absolutely blew me away.
