We’ve known each other for over ten years—through friends, nights out in Carlow and Naas, and more 18th and 21st birthday parties than we can count. All that time, and still, we had no idea we’d end up here. It wasn’t until one night on a dancefloor in Naas—thanks to Becky’s impeccable moves and unforgettable accent—that Luke finally took notice. That, as they say, was the beginning of everything. Fast forward seven years, and we’ve packed a lot in: we survived a harvest in Norfolk, made it through a global pandemic, travelled and lived across Australia, hiked countless mountains (organised by Becky, of course), and danced to enough country music to shake our worries away! Luke popped the question during an orange weather warning in October 2023, and since then, wedding planning has gone hand-in-hand with moving home, completing a postgrad, marathon training and squeezing in as many tasks as we can fit into a single day! As someone once told us: “It’ll either make you or break you.” Well—thankfully—it’s made us. We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding day with our nearest and dearest.
