Historic Stillwater
Founded in 1843, Stillwater is one of the oldest towns in the state. Situated right along the St Croix River, and spitting distance from Wisconsin, Old Town Stillwater is where the bride and groom had their first official date on June 19, 2023!

CHS Field
CHS Field is home of the St Paul Saints. Formerly owned by actor Bill Murray, the Saints recently became the Minnesota Twins AAA affiliate stadium. The Saints are in town all week and are famous for their entertaining shenanigans on game day.
Science Museum of Minnesota
The Science Museum of Minnesota is a wonderful museum with interesting exhibits and unique offerings. Very kid friendly.
Historic Fort Snelling
A former military fort from the Civil War era, Fort Snelling offers a window into Minnesota's long past and 19th century life
Como Park Zoo & Conservatory
Founded in 1897, Como Zoo is a free zoo with lots to offer and excellent animal selection. Conveniently located near St Paul, it's a great way for a family on a budget to spend the day.
Minnesota Zoo
With several rare animals worth the price of admission alone, the Minnesota Zoo offers a unique animal experience. They also just converted their monorail to a treetop walking path, which offers a unique way to observe the animals

Red Cow North Loop
One of my favorite burger places, very nice atmosphere and delicious food. Also available at Terminal 1 at MSP airport, in case you can't make it down there. Highly recommended.
Walker Art Center
A wonderful little art museum, but the real draw is the sculpture garden, featuring the famous Spoonbridge and Cherry sculpture, which is free to the public.
Minneapolis Chain of Lakes Regional Park
Lake Harriet, Lake of the Isles and Bde Maka Ska make up The Chain of Lakes, three large lakes in the heart of Minneapolis. Composing a 1,500 acre park system, these lakes feature 15 miles of walking paths and make for a delightful area to spend an afternoon.
First Avenue
A must see for music fans. First Ave is a unique, iconic, intimate music venue. It has played host to dozens of up and coming acts who made it big, with stars commemorating the most famous ones.
Guthrie Theater
If you're a fan of live theater, this is a can't miss. The most famous theater in Minnesota, and one of it's architectural icons, this stage has played home to numerous luminaries through the years (such as Morgan Freeman, James Earl Jones, David Hyde Pierce, Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart). Little Shop of Horrors will be playing the week of the ceremony, if you feel like catching a show.
Nicollet Mall
A walking promenade filled with stores and restaurants, and a statue of Mary Tyler Moore for any TV aficionados
Stone Arch Bridge
A beautiful piece of history. Completed in 1883, this former rail bridge over the Mississippi River near St Anthony Falls, has since been converted into a walking bridge.
