First day of classes. I walked into History class and took a random seat. The teacher let the students know that it was assigned seating in the class. She also let us know that there have been multiple people who started dating and even got married from the assigned seating. I sat and waited for her to call my name which she never did. So I went up and asked her where she wanted me to sit. She let me know I wasn’t registered for that class and to just sit in the back. So I made my way to the back where I was hoping to sit with someone I knew, but the seats around that person was full. As I was looking a beautiful woman asked me if I wanted to sit beside her which I did. We didn’t talk at all for the first class because what the teacher said at the beginning. When I was getting up to go to my next class the woman asked me what I thought was a weird question so I quickly answered and left. Turns out that was the love of my life.

Luke and I got engaged the first day of summer break after my sophomore year. We had been doing long-distance for a year, and Luke had been praying about moving to Tennessee in the near future. He got approval that day to move into his apartment, so I suggested we celebrate. He told me he had already made plans for us- going to Tellulah Falls and having a nice dinner. I was a little curious as to why, but I didn’t ask- he had been planning the waterfall visit for months. I mentioned calling our parents about the apartment to surprise them, but he told me to wait until after our dinner. Again, suspicious. About an hour before we got to the falls, he began nervously talking non-stop about anything and everything. He convinced me to put on my hoodie that matched his so that we could take pictures at the falls. At this point, I was 99% sure I was getting engaged very soon. We got to Tellulah Falls, and I stepped out of the car- without my phone or rings I previously had on. I walked towards the beautiful scenery, and music started playing from behind me- “Marry You”. I started shaking and crying hysterically as soon as I heard it. I turned back around, and he was on one knee. He asked me to be his wife, and I said yes!
