What time should I get there?

Answer

Doors to the Simon Reading Room where the ceremony is taking place will open at 5:30 pm. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to wait in the front hall by the St. Clair Street doors.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, the library provides free parking in their garage which can be accessed from Pennsylvania Street. If needed, vehicles may remain overnight at no cost.

Where should I go when I get there whether I drive or get dropped off?

Answer

If you are driving, you may access the parking garage from Pennsylvania Street. Take the elevators up to the main floor where staff will be waiting to direct you to the ceremony from there. If you get dropped off, ask to be let out by the entrance on St Clair Street. This will lead you directly to the ceremony and the front hall where you may be asked to briefly wait if you arrive before 5:30 pm.

Can I bring a guest or additional family members, such as children?

Due to venue capacity, we're only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on the website. The number of seats reserved for you will be clearly stated when you complete the RSVP process and are prompted to select your meal choice.

Will the event be inside or outside?

Everything will take place inside the library.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no formal dress code but cocktail attire is suggested for this festive venue. Dress to celebrate, but be comfortable enough to dance later!
