We met the modern way, on Hinge, on January 15, 2023. From the very beginning, something felt different. Before we ever exchanged a single message, there was just a feeling… like this might be something special. As it turns out, we were both thinking the exact same thing. At the time, we were in different states. I was in Texas and he was in Arizona (with a plan to move to Texas) , so instead of meeting right away, we spent the next several weeks getting to know each other through constant texts, and learning each other’s lives piece by piece. What started as simple messages quickly turned into something we both looked forward to every single day. Finally, on March 7, 2023, we met in person for the first time. Any nerves disappeared almost instantly. It felt easy and natural, like we had already known each other for years. From that moment on, everything just clicked. What started as a swipe turned into something neither of us could have expected, but both of us somehow knew from the very beginning. And the rest, as they say, is history 🤍
