Marina, McElla’s older sister and the OG Pappas Trail Blazer, paved the way for McElla to find all of her passions. McElla copied every step she took! Playing volleyball, going to Dave Matthews Band Concerts, wearing jean skirts and hemp necklaces, and throwing epic house parties when the parents were out of town. ; ) Marina lives in Houston Texas with her husband Bruno and their two German Shepherds; Jax and Diesel.
Travis Weber
Best Man
Travis, Luke's younger brother and oldest friend, will be standing next to Luke on The Big Day as his Best Man. Growing up together Luke and Travis were very close and loved to compete, whether it was one-on-one tackle football in the snow, cards, battleship, or 'who could fold clothes fastest' (spoiler: Luke claims to have always won). The competition continued in college where they played basketball at rival schools in Massachusetts. Since then the competition has died down, but the fun times have not as they get together on trips to the East Coast, Canada, California, and everywhere in between.
Laura Angiorlis

Laura, McElla's oldest friend, met McElla on the sidelines of their older sisters' soccer game in second grade. Every thing they did they did together. Volleyball, study abroad in Spain, working at the coffee shop with their other bestie, sneaking out of the house to hang out with the boys in the neighborhood, and going down to the Jersey Shore. Laura is 1/3rd of the trio that has remained best friends across the country and across decades.
Duncan Ley
Groomsman
Duncan was one of Luke's first friends when Luke moved to San Francisco in 2007. They quickly became roommates and have been fast friends ever since. Luke had the honor of officiating Duncan's wedding to his wife Kasey. Evvie, Kasey & Duncan's daughter, quickly became "Kella and Look's" best friend when the happy couples were neighbors!
Talia McMurtrie

Talia is one of McElla's incredible cousins! McElla grew up babysitting Talia, and having the best sleepovers. McElla was so fortunate to have Talia and her little brother, Duncan, close by. Talia played volleyball at the same high school as McElla, but eventually followed Marina's footsteps into a college career of Soccer at FIU, where Marina also went! However, Talia found the same skills as McElla; They both now are successful recruiters!
Brian McCarthy
Groomsman
Brian and Luke played basketball together at Babson College. "Uncle Brian" was a king on campus and always the life of the party. Post college, Brian got Luke his first job as a "sales person" for Bacardi. Luke followed Brian to California, where they continued to share adventures throughout California and were roommates in San Francisco.
Tracy Weber

Tracy is one of Luke's cousins who Luke and McElla have been fortunate to have so close to San Francisco. Tracy moved out west to Oakland, where Luke and McElla were able to spend so much time with her. Tracy has been such a good friend to McElla, welcoming her into the Weber family, planning family trips and adventures. McElla is so happy to have Tracy as family!
Bruno Barbosa

Bruno is Luke's future brother-in-law and is married to McElla's older sister, Marina. Luke feels fortunate to be able to spend many family trips, and holidays with Bruno who is always willing to go the extra mile to make you feel at home by whipping you up one mean Irish Coffee!
Melissa Rader

Melissa, McElla's soon to be sister-in-law, is engaged to marry McElla's brother, Andreas. Melissa and Andreas got engaged in the Tetons while on a sibling's trip, which both McElla and Marina were so happy to be apart of. When Andreas and Melissa lived in San Francisco, Luke and McElla enjoyed regular family dinners and nice CA pinots with them. Luke and McElla are so happy to have Melissa as family in CA with all of her kindness and spontaneity!
Andreas Pappas

Andreas is Luke's future brother-in-law, and McElla's younger brother. Andreas followed McElla to UC Santa Barbara and to San Francisco. Luke feels fortunate to have Andreas in San Francisco with him and McElla where they have been able to become close friends. Andreas and his fiance Melissa get together with the betrothed for ski weekends, family dinner parties, and wine country extravaganzas!
Stephanie Brooks

Stephanie was McElla's first roommate and friend in San Francisco. They have also been working together for the past 10 years! Stephanie was one of McElla's first friends to meet Luke, and instantly welcomed him into the tight-knit "Supper Club" friend group that she also invited McElla into long before. She knows Luke and McElla's relationship better than anyone and has been a huge part of their journey. We love you Steph!
