In August 2016, Maddy and Luke became next-door neighbours in their university residence. They quickly became close friends, but they couldn’t deny their romantic connection. In March 2017, their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship. Since then, Luke and Maddy have grown up together, supporting each other through school and work, travelling the world, and expanding their family to include their beloved kitty, Basil. In December 2023, Luke brought Maddy back to Sackville, New Brunswick—where their relationship first began. While strolling through Waterfowl Park, Luke got down on one knee and asked Maddy to marry him! They are so excited to celebrate their love and commitment to each other on their special day!
