We first met while working together at Pizza King, never imagining one day we'd be planning our own big day. Our first date was to see Marry Me—a movie choice Luke seemed surprisingly excited about (I say surprisingly because now I know he's not exactly a "chick flick" guy), but it was the perfect date to start our story. Over time we discovered a shared love for golfing and bowling, even joining a few leagues together. We enjoyed late-night movies with popcorn as well as going out for drinks to watch all of our favorite sports teams. Luke was the first to say, "I love you." He led me to this beautiful private bridge over the water, where we talked about our future and shared our love for each other. We both share the same favorite memory with each other: our first trip together, which was to Tennessee during Christmas time. During that trip we explored so many neat places, with it feeling even more magical being during the holiday season. That trip was extra special to us because it was the first time we brought up the topic of marriage and how ready we were to make the big commitment of spending the rest of our lives together. We have shared so much love, compassion, patience, and faith throughout our relationship, with each day bringing us closer to this very special day, and we cannot wait to begin this next chapter with each other!
