In the day and age of technology and social media, you're bound to form a friendship with someone, right? But, would you ever think you would marry someone you met in that fashion? Neither did we. Out of thousands of incoming Liberty freshman on Facebook, our completely unique lives coincidentally crossed paths. We developed a remote friendship before Luke started at LU in 2018, which was a semester after Lydia. But, once we both were at the University, the peas were in the same pod and we became the absolute bestest of friends. As the relationship deepened, we visited the hometown of one another and really got to see how different our upbringings were. Good ol' small-town (and I mean small...as you will find out) girl collides with city-dweller boy (who can happen to shoot some clay pigeons rather well). God's hand was in the forming of this relationship each step of the way, and that has been undeniable. As much as we would like to think we were "lucky" to find one another, we know the Lord has set it all up to show that He is the one to get the glory. Praise King Jesus!
