The ceremony will start promptly at 5 PM. If you are driving, we recommend building in at least 15 minutes to walk over from the parking area and get settled. For those taking the shuttle, take-off will be at 4:00 from the Fairfield Inn, and there is only one run- be sure not to miss it, as taxis are limited and there is no uber in the area!
If you are driving to the event, please park at the Town Green, right in front of the Old Inn on the Green. The property is a short (<5 minute) walk from this designated parking. You can park on the loop of gravel, but can also park on the grass itself! We recommend dressy casual or semi-formal. We want you to be comfortable and ready to walk around in a field and backyard! Anything from sundresses to cocktail dresses, button down and slacks, sports coat, or suit is all fair game. For those considering heels, we would recommend against stilettos and would consider flats or wedges. There will be grass, uneven surfaces and there could be some mud!
While we wish we could accommodate family and loved ones of all ages, the wedding will be adults only with the exception of children in the wedding party.
Unfortunately, we are space restricted given this is a small town backyard wedding! Save the dates and invitations will address those who are invited to the wedding, and will indicate if a guest is included. Thank you for understanding!
There will be an area to list this on your virtual RSVP--please let us know so that we can plan ahead. If we have any follow up questions or need clarification to make sure you can eat and drink with us on our special day, we will be sure to reach out to you.
Our reception will end at 10:30, with the shuttle bus arriving shortly thereafter to transport folks staying in Great Barrington back to their hotel.
We welcome guests taking as many photos as they like before the ceremony and at the reception! Our only ask is that all devices are away and off during the ceremony itself. We have a photographer who will make sure to get plenty of photos of the ceremony, and we can make sure they're available to you all afterwards!
There will be an open bar. Keep in mind, as mentioned, that there are limited taxis and no uber in the area, so make sure you take our shuttle or have a designated driver for transport after the reception.
